Banyan Harbor Resort

We love staying here! They have many room sizes to accommodate small to large parties. Near local souvenir and food shops, all within walking distance! Near the airport and most larger retail shopping like Costco and Target. Great sunrise views to enjoy your morning coffee. Recommend the near by coffee truck.

The service was fine. The unit was very old carpet smelled,  the unit needs to be updated. Everything was looking like it was from 1970 , if it was updated, I would stay there again, but not the way it is now for the price that you pay was too much. It did have a washer and dryer which was good. It had designated parking, which was cool and staff was nice ,

Banyan Harbor Resort has an excellent location. You can walk to plenty of places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with lots of dining options nearby. There’s even an ABC Store within walking distance. The beach is right across the street, and the pool offers great ocean views. Our two-bedroom condo was clean but very dated. You could hear everything—every step from the unit above and even restroom noise—which made it hard to fully relax. There also appeared to be quite a few full-time residents, which changed the overall resort feel. BERT from security was very friendly and accommodating when we arrived and deserves a special mention. Overall, while the location is great, it’s not likely a place we would return to. Read policies by the phone.

The resort location is right in the middle and makes it super easy to go either direction, North or South. Within walking distance there is a nice beach, restaurants and a place to hire your snorkel or golfing gear, it is called Kauaiboundstore. You are also within 10 mins drive to the airport, Costco, and Target.The unit was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. They in fact swapped out the towels etc in the middle of my 7 day stay, which I did not expect.

If you want a central, affordable, condo from which to hit all of the island within an hour and a half drive in either direction, this is the place to stay!! The staff is phenomenal! They are amazingly responsive in a super quick manner, incredibly knowledgeable about the island and make great suggestions, and kept our condo clean and tidy for us. I will say that, no fault of Banyon Harbor Resort, the people staying in the condo above us were so loud... Every night. It sounded like they were hosting the Royal Rumble in their condo!! Once we got past that, everything that was literally perfect!
