This is a great location right in the middle of all the action. I think it's the closest high-end hotel to Reagan National Airport so getting to and from DCA is easy. Great housekeeping, front desk, and conference center staff. The restaurant and bar have solid and quality food options. Easy walking distance to major tourist locations and the Mall. My only complaint, which is endemic to all Marriott properties, is no Coke products. It's a Pepsi only facility.

JW Marriott Washington, DC A very solid choice for anyone visiting Washington, DC. The hotel’s central location is one of its biggest strengths — just steps away from the White House and within easy walking distance of the National Mall, monuments, and museums. It’s ideal for both sightseeing and business travel. The lobby is modern, elegant, and stylish, creating a great first impression and a comfortable space to meet or relax. Rooms are well maintained and quiet, offering a pleasant retreat after a busy day in the city. The staff deserves special recognition — consistently friendly, professional, and helpful, making guests feel welcome from check-in to departure. Service throughout the hotel is efficient and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, JW Marriott Washington, DC deli

Interior facing room is noisy with a hum, but outside facing rooms was great. Valet parking extremely expensive - would recommend trying to park elsewhere

Stayed five nights in December 2025 in a king room with a monument view. Check-in was quick in the late afternoon and staff were friendly. The room was fine but clearly dated, with older finishes that could use a refresh. Bed was comfortable, HVAC worked well, and the shower hardware was decent, but hot water took too long to arrive and the temperature kept slipping cool mid-shower.||Noise levels were low. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. I used both the downstairs restaurant and the lobby bar; food and drinks were good, but the bar did not feel well managed. The location is excellent for the White House, National Mall, and Metro. Marriott Bonvoy classifies JW Marriott as a Luxury brand, but this stay felt more in line with Marriott’s Premium portfolio and would be better positioned there.

Attended for a conference so cannot speak to the rooms but the hotel itself is beautiful, modern, clean and very grand, with multiple levels in the main lobby area. Customer Service: employees were very helpful and friendly. Location: 5-10 min walk to whitehouse and food options
