Jones Water Campground

It's FREE! What else could you want? Plus, the pit toilets are clean & nearly oder free. But there is little to no cell reception on AT&T. And the tree cover is thick enough to give Starliink a challenge in most spots. I did not find one truly flat site, and they were all on the small side. There is a sign starting 20' Max recommended and I think that's about right, although that could be pushed a bit. And the short narrow road through the campground is a bit rough. Finally, all the campsites are right next to the highway, so there's some road noise that mostly disappears at night. But it's FREE!

Quieter than expected, road was a little rough and washed out from recent rains but the front half of the loop was usable. Main restroom was clean and well stocked, back half of the loop had a smaller restroom with a floor covered in mud. Campsites were nice a large, with tables and fire rings. The night sky was BEAUTIFUL. Hiked the loop and the wash, all in all a very quiet pretty area to visit, and stay a night.

Nice small campground....not very big at all, but very dense foliage. Not good for trailers or rvs (not really anywhere to turn around & camp road dead ends down a fairly steep primitive road), but probably ok for pop-ups. Kinda close to highway so there is some vwhi noise

We camped in March and it was pretty cold at night, but really beautiful during the day. This campground is only about 20 mins North of the city of Glob. The bathrooms are clean and the campsites are spread out well, and it is FREE to camp. There are nice concrete benches and fire rings at each site. We found a good spot with lots of shade. Parking is a little hard if you have more than one car as the spaces are very long, narrow, and right on the road, but we made it work. There is quite a bit of traffic noise from the highway, but we did not mind it. The campground itself does not get much traffic. The surrounding area has some burn damage, but the camping areas are still lush and pretty. There was no water in the creek.

It's nice if you're passing through and you need somewhere to sleep. nice Campground but too close to the highway
