El Rey Motel

We pulled up as one of the only vehicles in the complex at the time. A group of guys stared at my family and I as I pulled in, and when I got out they all dispersed and were gone the second I looked away. I assume I met with the owner inside, as his family was around and had many toys for a little girl around the office. I found this comforting and think he wants the best for this property and residents. It is a little rough on the outside but inside, everything seemed clean and the bathroom was fairly nice. They do have lights and some cameras which helped a bit with security concerns. There were a few contruction/mine workers as our neighbors. There seemed to be some longer term residents but everyone kept to themselves. As far as Globe goes, this seemed as good of a place as anywhere. U

Excellent customer service. Room was very clean. AC worked perfectly as did everything else. It was very quiet and I was not disturbed during my entire visit. A very friendly classic place and would definitely stay again!

$60 out the door for a night in Globe, Arizona. The room was bare bones and did have some very minor cleanliness issues. The shower was absolutely amazing! Friendly staff, good value.

This place is a Mess! Stayed here previously and it was NOT ran like this! Walked into room and immediately felt sand/dirt underneath shoes, the manager (I'm assuming) comes way before checkout time asking if your staying or leaving? When it was reserved and paid for a week! 1st couple mornings was woke up to someone trying to unlock door to the room! Peeked out the window and saw some random guy I did not know wiggling knob trying to open door. I was alone my husband is working in this town So he had already left. It was just a VERY sketchy experience all the way around! Keep your faith up and pay attention to your surroundings!
