Jellystone Park™ South Haven

Overall experience was good. Only complaint was the bathrooms. I was there Friday-Sunday and you could tell they were not cleaned. Hair on the floor in the showers, a sanitary napkin wrapper on the floor, sinks were dirty and it was like that the whole time. We didn’t except the pool to still be open being the first weekend in October in Michigan, so be sure to check. (Our fault for not checking) it was hot and would have been nice to use the pool. Halloween activities were fun. Great place for families.

Cleanest campground I’ve ever seen! The cabins were updated with new curtains, appliances, and kitchen utensils. All of the grounds were well kept. I felt safe and welcome throughout the whole stay. Plenty of activities for our kids and the whole family. Staff members were knowledgeable and friendly. The $15 bracelet for the kids was a great deal. This bracelet allowed for unlimited times for our kids to “check out” bikes and pedal cars of all kinds whenever they wanted throughout the duration of our stay. Some other highlights were the “Heyrack” rides, pool, arcade, glitter tattoos, golf cart rental, playgrounds, and the beach which was less than a 15 minute drive! We had a blast and my kids were already asking when we could come back!

We've stayed here four years in a row, traveling with several other families and booking cabins next to each other. Our kids range from age 9 to 6 months and they all have a great time. Get a bike pass for the duration of your trip and let the kids grab bikes and ride whenever they want. The speed limit within the park is very slow and I've never worried about the kids getting hurt. There are plenty of planned activities provided by the campground, just download the app to stay in the know!

This is the most miserable camping experience I’ve ever had, and I love camping. First, the facilities are not well maintained, the bathroom had 1 of 5 sinks that actually worked and in the entire 2 days we were there was never actually cleaned (tidied yes, disinfected of any kind, no). Second, activities are scheduled constantly on weekends, so you never get a minute to sit down and rest. And if you did want to do a camping-like activity—say listen to the birds sing—you’d have to do it over the music the campground is blaring and the heavy equipment rumbling through the campsite (tractor and fork-lift).
