North Beach in South Haven is a beautiful spot to spend a day by the lake, during summer! There's plenty to do, with fishing, swimming, a playground, and a pier. The sunset was stunning. The beach is well-maintained. I would definitely recommend North Beach to anyone looking for a relaxing day by the water.

I went to North Beach in South Haven, Michigan, with my wife. We stayed to watch the sunset. We met and talked with a couple who had purchased a Tiny House in the area. They were retired Army and had a small boat also. We met several people fishing from the pier. They were catching and releasing the fish back into the water. South Heaven and the people in and around that area are friendly, fun, and engaging. There is a place to buy food that is located right on North Beach. On their menu, they also had hotdogs and ice cream. There is a restroom and tables to sit at overlooking Lake Michigan. My wife and I go to North Beach several times a year. Each time we go, it is fun, relaxing, peaceful, filled with interesting people, and beautiful sunsets.

It was a nice beach, very empty today, sunny but windy there were no stones or sea glass to collect. Bathrooms are closed and also no consessions available, but the parking is free.Its a nice walk with the sound of the waves rolling in very peaceful. The beach is very clean. Left a painted halloween stone for someone to find

I just love it here. It can be a little 'uppity' at times, but it's beautiful, and it's so nice to walk around the marina at sunset after shopping around downtown South Haven.
