Jamaica Beach RV Resort

We've been to Galveston a few times, first time we've been to Jamaica Beach RV. We normally travel in the Winter so it's off season I'm sure. It was still really great. - All the reviews on it needing some sprucing up are accurate. Some things just looked like a tiny bit of repair or some paint would do some good. Laundry room we used had some dryers that weren't even working. -You're going to find less amenities this time of year and that's ok, because the ones that were up were working. Hot tub was always very relaxing. Indoor pool was warm enough I swam in it a few times (I was always alone, but that's alright). It's not Summer so we expected all of this. There are a great deal of fun amenities for all ages. Staff are friendly. The turtles are a novelty. It is within walking distance of the gulf beach. Overall, it is a great place. ||Area of concern is night bicycling without lights. Safety of children is important.

This is my second time to visit. The 1st time we were in an RV for 4 days and it was great! There are so many things to do. Basketball, pickle ball, mini golf, 3 pools, kids splash pad area and my favorite, the lazy river. There are several large bathrooms with showers and an adjoining laundry room (didn't go in the laundry room) that are always very clean and accommodating. The second time we stayed in one of the "cabins" which is more like a little townhouse. It was very nice with a couch and TV area as you walk in, then a little kitchen with all appliances included. Down from that is a large walk in shower with a tree that stretches over and provides the overhead rain shower to compliment the wall mounted shower head. Definitely one of our favorite resorts to visit. We have had the opportunity to stay here many times and enjoy each one as if it was our first the amenities are outstanding, the staff very pleasant and the location can’t be beat. They have a variety of pools to choose from as well as access to the beach on the other side of the road. Play a little putt putt golf, and check out the giant turtles in their area. This is always been a guaranteed pleasant place to stay.

I stayed in my motor home and the big hot tub pool is fabulous here. Place is clean you can play put put golf for free and in the summer they have a lazy river. Ive been here about 3 times now.
