Island Beach Resort

We leave next week for our twelfth year (minus Covid year) at Island Beach Resort. Really looking forward to two weeks of great vacation time. I guess twelve years says we like it. The staff is very accommodating and ensures that your stay is problem free. The facility is clean and very well maintained.|Of course Shuckers Restaurant (on site) is a great amenity, along with the pool and the ocean at your doorstep. Island Beach Resort is truly a hidden gem.

We have been staying here for 15 years. The facility is well maintained. The people are very friendly. The view is fantastic. The prices are moderate. You can’t go wrong staying here.

Another glorious weekend at the Island Beach Resort! This place gets better with each visit. Room 406 is to die for! Beautifully appointed with stunning views of the beach. Fall asleep and wake up to the soothing sounds of the rolling ocean waves. Dinner and drinks at Shuckers was perfect, as always. Absolutely the best, friendliest and most welcoming staff!

We arrived at this place after a long trip across the United States. We thought that when we got here, we would be able to rest and enjoy a quiet, relaxing weekend. When we entered the room we found ants in the kitchen, hair on the bed sheets. Someone came and replaced all the sheets. Later on, when we tried to open the door to the yard, it wouldn’t open at all. The other door did open, but only after pushing very hard. This morning, someone was hammering outside and it was very noisy—and again around noon there was construction noise. The place itself is very beautiful, but we really don’t feel comfortable here. The noise and the issues definitely prevent us from having the quiet weekend we were hoping for. It is very noisy here because of work being done in the room upstairs as well
