I do not recommend this hotel. Tom the “manager” was rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. |We never received any contact from the hotel with information regarding check in. There is not office and I had to walk the premises in hopes of finding this manager Tom, which I did and he just rudely sent me to my room which was just unlocked. It was odd. |Our tv did not work. Tom did not respond to multiple calls and texts regarding the tv. Friends that were also staying here had tvs that did work. |Our room had a musky smell, somewhat mildewy, liking coming from the window unit air conditioner. |There’s no housekeeping, which we may have known, still it should be noted because I felt like our room was not clean upon arrival. I stayed here a little over a year ago for a few months until our move in was ready. Seriously, do not stay here. It starts with Tom who has no customer skills and will make your life difficult. He has to own the place because what owner would have him run down their business? Yes, the rooms smell musty, ac filters are dirty as heck and there were children’s silverware in the kitchen to use and he told us to go to the dollar store. I had words with him and he took the free laundry room rights away that were included in what we were paying, I called the police and when they arrived they mentioned they have been there on many occasions regarding Tom, and that because it is run, as an Airbnb, Tom has the right to cancel your stay at any time and you would have to leave. The location was awesome. We loved the view. The cottage was nice for the most part and served our needs. The cottage will accommodate 4 people at best. I had to go shopping to buy paper towels and cleaning products as the counters and cabinets were all loaded with mouse droppings. Minor hiccup in an otherwise nice trip.

Do not stay here. The room is filthy, a number of items don't work, and there is no housekeeping. When we called Tom, he said that no one would be available until Monday and then blocked us. We were told to use the washer if we wanted clean towels. Tom is in the wrong business. He is awful to deal with as the manager. The only thing this place has going for it is the water view. Please skip this place to stay. It really is awful.

The negatives far outweigh the positives. Customer Service is non-existent. "Tom" can't be bothered by petty things like giving the customer the wrong room type, even tho I paid for a $315.00 per nite room, and received a lesser room. He claimed all the rooms are the same price and they are all booked up, so nothing can be done. Ahhh, the old bait and switch. His indifference made ALL the differnce in this review. There's not much a customer can do when there's no onsite manager. This remote managing is the downfall of true customer service. Curiously, the parking lot was never ever full in the 5 nites we stayed. Now, I think I've been lied to, about the Full House.The hotel didn't have many operating outdoor lights at nite.
