Inverness By the Sea

Stayed here through Airbnb. Wonderful spot. Right on the water. Pool and hot tub. Our room was just perfect

We really wanted to like this place, but it was disappointing from the start. We’ve been to Galveston dozens of times and this was one of our least favorite condos. First off, is it Inverness by the Sea or Captain’s Cove? The signage alone was very confusing just to confirm we were at the correct place. The parking lot is very small and cramped, and in the summer it makes for a very hot trek to our room. Not one, but all 3 elevators were out of order (which nobody mentioned ahead of time). We have mobility impaired family members and lots of luggage. Making several trips up multiple flights of stairs in 100degrees just didn’t start things off well. We enjoyed laying on a bed that wasn't harder than the floor. The welcome gifts were nice, and the apartment was spacious. The only downside is the very busy road right out front that you see, hear, and have to cross to get to the beach.

This place had ample parking. Wish the elevators worked since my ankle was sprained. Overall the place was very clean and updated. The pool was refreshing but hot tub was not working. Enjoyed the two bedroom condo. Efficiency kitchen and washer and dryer in room. Very convenient. Access to the beach was dangerous being you had to cross the main street at your own risk. Could travel by vehicle to cross the street and park.

This is a condo we stayed in. It's right across from the ocean. It has a pool and a hot tub. The condo we stayed in is cow themed and is cute. It had everything we needed for our stay. There was lots of space for us. This would be a good place for a vacation with your family.
