InTown Suites Extended Stay Virginia Beach VA

A very nice young man initially checked us in. We were put in a smoking room/floor, unknowingly when I reserved a room online. Ended up staying in that room for almost a month since I was told there were no non smoking rooms available. The room was not as clean as it should have been. I wasn't made aware there was a linen fee when checking in and was threatened with extra fees and bad attitude when returning dirty linens for clean ones after every third day by the two ladies working in the front office. The hospitality and cleaning services at hotels in general are not like they used to be! You definitely get what you pay for at this place, but it was worth it for us. My husband and I needed a reasonably place to stay for a week and this was by far the best price I could find in the Virginia Beach area. The place isn't anything special. The beds are hard with cheap linen, cheap towels, but it was very clean which is by far the most important thing to me. We were in the process of moving so we just took the comforter off the bed and used our own blanket, and used our own towels so it was perfect! They have room service once a week, provide the first of the toiletries, and you have to take all your trash out when you leave. The staff is nice but the room is not. We had to tell them multiple times about bugs before they even tried doing anything and even then they still didn’t even do much of anything. The problem still persist. They are not doing anything about it no matter how many times we tell them.

I am currently staying at the Virginia Beach location and Mr. Darnell and staff have been just amazingly nice and helpful. I got here and although I read some not so positive reviews before my stay, I have to say I have had no issues. The cleaning staff is amazing, my room was clean and bug free, and I have been met with nothing but hospitable service since arriving. I am glad I chose to stay here in spite of negative reviews.

Mr. Travis is AMAZING!!!!! He made sure my belongings got to me. Thank you so much. His boss Ms. Angela is also VERY Amazing! She has trained the staff here to do what they are supposed to do! Anytime I speak to her she is very reassuring. I give this location 10/10. Thank you staff for keeping us safe and up to date!
