Yes, there were several issues during my stay. Upon my checkout just a few moments ago, I let the front desk worker know that I did not have any hot water in my room and that I just washed my hair in the sink because the shower was unbearable. She told me that there was nothing she could do, as there was construction work outside and that people who checked in yesterday received a notice. I did not check in yesterday, I checked in on Thursday and received no notice, either by email or otherwise. I said I am paying hundreds of dollars to stay at a hotel and there is nothing you can do to compensate for the fact that I did not have hot water? Something I could have gotten at my own home? That is ridiculous to me. ||||Housekeeping did not come to my room at all for 2 of the days of my stay an
Positive: Everything was great. Hotel employee at the front desk was great. Negative: ""
For a first time in NOLA and Mardi Gras, this place did not disappoint. Each highlight of this centralized location made the experience worth while. Kenji's sushi is sensational as the perfect start to the trip (wish I had some before I left). Loa-the French 76 is my new unforgettable favorite. But the most memorable part of trip was interacting with Chris H at the front desk. His hospitality was one of warmth, considerable recommendations and sense of community. The entire staff was welcoming-an experience I can't wait to repeat.
Negatives: The regular queen room was very small- the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Only a bed and side tables as furniture- no chair or desk or anything. When we arrived at about 9pm nobody was there for valet parking. Positives: The room was very quiet- I never heard another person beside or above us. The bed was comfortable.
We recently hosted our 2025 National 811 Liaison Conference at this hotel, and I felt compelled to share our experience. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but the level of service we received here deserves to be recognized. From the moment planning began, the sales staff and management team, especially Amanda and Sophia, were exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure every one of our attendees had what they needed to fully enjoy the conference. Christopher at the front desk made check-in seamless and welcoming. Abigail, who managed the Loa hotel bar, was not only wonderful to work with, but her hospitality and craft cocktails were the highlight of many conversations among our attendees. We received so many compliments throughout the week that I could hardly keep tra
