Inn by the Bandstand a Boutique Hotel

What a beautiful Inn! I would highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Exteter! Sir Stanley and Jaime were amazing and the Inn was beautiful! My room was warm and inviting. Everything was spotless and the charm was everywhere. I slept really well and loved that I was able to turn on the fire place in the morning. I enjoyed a quiet coffee in the exquisite piano room followed by breakfast in the Ambrose Restaurant. The decor is beautiful and I loved all of the little extra touches of grandeur everywhere. Highly recommend!

Paid over 700 for a suite but, not well done decor very drab way over priced horrible service asked for a glass of wine after unpacking bags had to wait for innkeeper to get out of a meeting totally weird place the same person checking me in also, prepared meals, brought in my luggage and after he was out of a meeting brought my wine.very unaccommodating. Not what I expected paying so much. Disappointed. My recommendation is fine another place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn. The room was spotless. The bed and pillows and blanket luxurious. The ambience is off the charts. A classic old New England Inn. The staff were warm and welcoming. My wife and both love it here. Highly recommended!!

The property itself is amazing. It is situated in a prime location in the quaint downtown area of Exeter, NH.|Each guest room is unique, beautifully decorated, and immaculate.|The food and drinks created by the Executive Chef of the Ambrose Restaurant, which is located inside of the Inn, are exquisite. |What makes this establishment truly elevated is the unwavering attention to detail, concern for satisfaction, and perpetually pleasant demeanor of the Inn Keeper, Jaime. They simply could not be more accommodating here. |The Inn and Ambrose Restaurant recently hosted my cozy, intimate, wedding and reception. It was truly spectacular and exceeded all of my expectations.

Had the most wonderful experience staying and dining at the Inn by the Bandstand and Ambrose Restaurant with family. The owner and staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the area. |The rooms are updated with beautiful antiques throughout the inn, public spaces are welcoming and it’s conveniently located right in the heart of town. The food and ambiance at their onsite Ambrose Restaurant was phenomenal, every plate was delicious. Highly recommend this hidden gem. We will be back.
