The kid who checked us in had counted us as a no-show despite emailing and messaging through the app prior to arrival informing them we would be a late arrival. He didn’t know the hours for breakfast or the pool. Every single Pepsi in the cooler was expired, we told them on Saturday and when we left on Monday they were still there. The guest washer made our clothes come out wayyy dirtier than they were going in. I don’t think the elevator has ever been vacuumed and it didn’t smell the best. My back to back reservations were messed up and they thought we were departing the day before, so management pounded on our door at 10:30 am to ask who was in the room. The front desk got snippy and condescending with me when I asked about billing to make sure everything was straightened out. The room w

Let me just say, I was there at the tail end of their refresh, so these comments are only partially related to it.|The new finishes are great, really like them. The room was comfortable and had all the ports one needs when traveling for various devices. However, attention to details is lacking. The drape panel is off one of the hooks. The refrigerator isn't balanced, and since it is small, things need to be on their side, but then they roll out. There's no shelf in the shower, so anything you bring in has to go on the floor. The bath products are in the inside shower bar - cool idea, but the labels face out which requires one to slide he door open to see what's what, all while dripping wet. Website doesn't list that there is a microwave in the room, which would've been helpful when I was a

Returning to the Fairfield after being gone for a few months, was like visiting home! Though some of the staff had changed, I was welcomed, and treated with grace and kindness. Glad to see the world waking up after the travel restrictions of the pandemic. The property was spotless as I remembered it, and it was clear that the new general manager had focused on keeping it in tip top shape. I appreciated the cleaning and precautions necessary for the pandemic, but not intrusive as to disrupt the stay. The room was immaculate, and had been very well cleaned. During check in, the front desk recognized me, and made me feel welcome, and the hotel market was well stocked with goodies and sensible treats. We experienced a signifiant snow fall, winter storm really, yet the parking and walkways

Signs of the long-running renovations are obvious in lobby, elevator and corridors. Our room appeared to have been renovated. The room was spacious enough to have accommodated a second chair but only one was provided. It was quiet - except for the A/C, which had an intermittent disturbing rattle. It also seemed to have a miscalibrated thermostat.||Bathroom also a decent size with large walk-in shower that worked well.||The room had a fridge and microwave. There was a simple coffee drip machine but tea drinkers will be disappointed that there was no kettle to boil water. Hot water was available in the breakfast area - but not boiling water.||The self-serve breakfast area in the lobbby is basic. Not somehere you would want linger over a leisurely breakfast - we went elsewhere.||The staff we
