The service and atmosphere of this venue is exceptional. The sole reason for this review is the noise from street at night. |The noise was extremely disruptive at night… and while out of the control of the hotel, still diminished our experience and sleep,

The Union League, in Philly, is a reciprocal club of the RCMI, in Toronto. We were in Philadelphia for our daughter and son-in-law’s graduation. ||It is located in City Center. It was a wonderful stay with friendly staff. The room was modern and the bed comfortable. As a guest one is allowed the same privileges as a member but being a private club, there is a dress code. ||Didn’t try the health club on site||Amazing breakfast is included.||We plan to make this our go to accommodation when in Philly. ||Why it is rated as a 3 star place is perplexing - in my opinion a definite 5.

I stayed for the night of the 13th where we attended the reception for my son's wedding. Thereception was nice,the food was good, but the room, while nicely appointed, had some serious issues. We stayed in a two room suite, which to me means 2 bedrooms, not a bedroom with 2 beds, and a living room, and a bathroom that you had to fight with the door to get it opene and to get it to close. The beds weren't even queen size beds, but fulls. When i pulled the covers back, the sheet covering the mattress also pulled out, and it was in shreds as if torn repeatedly. It's not something I would have expected for the price. |Other details of the room that even though we were on the fifth floor, the noise from the bars down the streets was loud and intrusive. |The pillows were smaller than standard

I was here for an event. The food was spectacular, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the facilities were top notch. I can definitely see why this place has so many members!||One thing that really stood out was the cleanliness of the facilities. From the entrance, to the hallways, the bathrooms, and to the dining room, everything was spotless.
