IHG Army Hotels Dvqs Buildings 6012 & 6013

We had an issue where my daughter was accidentally locked out of her room and her cat was unfortunately left in there by herself. It took a moment but it was rectified and I really appreciate the staff for taking care of it. The morning staff was so kind they even comped our room for that night that we were locked out.

This hotel is located on the Hunter Army Air Force base. The accommodations were spotless as are most miliary lodgings.|Our room was spacious and had everything we needed.|A free breakfast is included with your stay but is was much the same as most free breakfasts offered at other hotels...nothing to rave about.|The PX and the commissary are both located, conveniently, right behind the hotel within walking distance.|The base is easily located right off the main road off of RT 512. Convenient to downtown Savannah, the airport and Tybee Island. Each is about a 30 minute drive. The airport may be a bit closer.

DO NOT LET FALSE PICTURES FOOL YOU! The location is the best feature, although on post next to a gate that closes very early negates that! This hotel is an only slightly renovated old quarters building. It is in bad shape with only cosmetic updates. The staff is disinterested or openly rude. The food at breakfast is of far worse quality than the usual IHG bad breakfast... and even more sparse than typically provided. The rate, for what is basically an Army quarters facility, is about twice what it should be.

Quiet, great breakfast, clean & organized. Room could’ve been a little cleaner. A few hairs in the tub & finger prints on nightstand & little side table. Great shower pressure, pillows & bedding. Overall nice stay. We will be back.
