Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa

Best hotel stay! Great location and overall a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious and the amenities were nice. I especially appreciated the water refill stations — such a thoughtful touch. The lounge food was delicious and changed daily, offering fresh and tasty options each day. The staff at the club lounge were kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. The indoor dining area felt a bit small and limited, but the outdoor tables were nice and provided a more comfortable space. The gym is well maintained, though the pool is on the smaller side and the hot tub fills up very quickly. The best things about this hotel are the quick housekeeping service, the convenient walking distance to the mall and the beach, the kind staff, and the fast valet service.

My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency on Waikiki because we were attending a wedding on Oahu. The hotel is in an amazing location on Waikiki and offers terrific proximity to everything. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The staff truly exceeded our expectations in terms of service and were very friendly and gracious. We loved the pool area and definitely thought the sunset views from that level were gorgeous. Food options were also very good. We would definitely stay there again.

Positive: The location and staff are wonderful. Negative: The room was marketed as a high floor ocean view with photos of a clear ocean view from the room entrance. Our rooms faced the other tower with partial view of ocean only from the balcony if turning head 90 degrees. Not consistent terms.

The location right on Waikiki Beach is hard to beat, and overall i would say the hotel offers very solid value. Staff throughout the property were friendly and welcoming, consistent with Hyatt hospitality. Our room was fairly updated, but it could use some upkeep. There was a large wrinkle in the carpet across our room that created a trip hazard for our kids. For families with strollers, the layout can be a bit inconvenient. Check-in is on the second floor, and getting in and out of the hotel usually involves two elevators that are fairly far apart—one to reach the lobby level and another in your assigned tower. The pool is very small (almost tiny) and tends to get crowded quickly, so it’s best to plan on spending most of your time at the beach, which is right across the street. The Rege

I was so happy to surprise my daughter and take her to this beautiful resort in the heart of Waikiki. I really can't say enough about it. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and the resort itself is fabulous with awesome shops, a coffee shop, free classes within the hotel and area. The hotel is located right across from the beach so it's very easy to access the water. I can honestly that even if the resort is the most beautiful place in the world, the people truly will make or break the experience. I cannot say enough about this place from the general manager, to the valet staff, to the people who checked us in. Everyone greeted us with a smile, asked where we were from, and served us like we were "ohana." It truly was an experience that we will remember for a lifetime! The resort staff wen
