Hyatt Regency Houston West

The scenery at this hotel is absolutely beautiful, and I will say the check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The front desk staff was kind and efficient, which we appreciated after traveling. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for us. For the price of each room, the hotel is extremely outdated and does not reflect what you would expect at that rate. We originally stayed in Room 2115 in a king suite and quickly noticed the king mattress was sitting on two twin box springs, which caused the bed to lean significantly to one side. It was very uncomfortable and honestly surprising for a suite at this price point. We called the front desk and they did move us to another room, which we appreciated. However, the bed in the second room was extremely soft and just as uncomfortable

Anytime we have a staycation or we are entertaining friends and family, Houston Hyatt Regency West is where we make our reservations! GORGEOUS lobby, clean and comfortable rooms, exceptional service, and a solid breakfast menu… I can’t ask for more. Shout out to Mr. Xavier, Mr. Joshua, Ms. Kameyah for always taking care of my family and me. We can’t wait to celebrate my mom’s upcoming 88th birthday at this beautiful hotel. We are so excited to go back to this home away from home!

Positive: Every interaction I had with the staff was pleasant. The lobby is beautiful and is a great place to relax outside of the room. Free water bottles available upon asking. Negative: The music in the pool area was loud.

LOVE ❤️ the Black Hold pub inside the Hotel. Super atmosphere! Warm and welcoming. Great food menu and NOOR made the best fresh and tasty mojito! Fresh large mint and lime - very refreshing and not too sweet. Went great with my Cesar Grilled shrimp salad. Lots of fresh shrimp and very tasty! THANK YOU NOOR! ❤️✌️🙏

Facility had issues with hot water at the time of our stay, but overall the experience was great. The ambience is very relaxing with the koi pond and sound of cascading water. Ask front desk for fish food to feed the fish to elevate the relaxation. The bar had a great selection of drinks and service was great. For the cost, it's a great place to stay.
