Hyatt Regency Houston Downtown

Overall great experience so far. Brian the manager definitely was the life of downstairs area. Very friendly and trying to help accommodate people as much as he could ! Einstein’s bagel Had a line all the way out in the lobby due to a race, parade, and competition cheer girls. The poor people were running like crazy did not have a break until probably 12 when they finally just had to pause because they couldn’t keep up. They were amazing and very friendly the whole way through even under such a huge rush! I honestly could not say how amazing they were! Anywhere else you go they would be grumpy and snappy. We stayed at Hyatt Regency Houston Downtown for 4 nights, and it was a great experience. We have been upgraded to a Deluxe King and the room was very spacious, quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff were polite and always ready to help. The location is very convenient, especially because it connects to the Houston Downtown tunnel system, making it easy to walk around when the weather is not good. The breakfast was good and the restaurant team offers excellent services. Overall the hotel offered great value for the price and we would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. We recently visited Houston from California. It was our first time in Houston, when approaching the counter they asked us where we were visiting from and we told them California they greeted us with big smiles and open arms. The staff gave us some must try's in the city. They certainly lived up to the Texas hospitality. The rooms were nice and updated elevators moved pretty quickly. Breakfast buffet was great they have an omelet bar which was a 10 out of 10. Location wasn't too far from a Starbucks. The coffee was a solid 3 but hey the hotel made up for it with the great staff.

I had an excellent experience during my stay, and I want to specifically recognize Leah and Sylvie for their outstanding service. I was attending a two-day work conference, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. They were both incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made a busy work trip much more enjoyable. It’s clear they truly care about guests and take pride in providing great service. Because of them, this hotel really stood out, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others.

Positive: Location Negative: Valet. Some of the guys were inconsiderate. We drove in and went to the room. When we came back down after 1hr our vehicle was still running and the window was down still just how we left it.
