Customer Reviews
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge and had a very pleasant experience overall. The room was comfortable and well‑appointed, though it did show a bit of wear and tear in places. Nothing major, but noticeable enough to keep it from feeling completely fresh. The real standout of the stay was the breakfast. You can genuinely taste the freshness of the ingredients, and the quality sets it apart from typical hotel offerings. It became something I looked forward to each morning. Staff members were consistently polite, attentive, and warm, which added to the positive atmosphere throughout the hotel. A solid four‑star stay, and I’d happily return—especially for that breakfast.
The rooms are kinda small and they add $20/day as mandatory fee. The parking is outrageously expansive like a typical downtown hotel but you can park on street for free from 06:00 PM to 08:00 AM, plus another 2 Hrs @ $2/hr. Otherwise it's a great place with courteous staff. I also tried their omlette brekfast and found it to be delicious. All benefits of Explorist status were honoured and they upgraded me to a room with balcony view, which I enjoyed a lot.
I really enjoyed my experience at the Regency Cambridge, every staff person without fail was helpful friendly and customer focused. And I loved the food! The cafe was well stocked, friendly people. The Tavern really made me happy, enjoyed dining there everyday. Shout-out to our waiter Stella who was memorably friendly and made us feel relaxed and well cared for.
Checked in to hotel for a month, excluding weekends, while I was obtaining chemotherapy and radiation therapy at Dana Farber across the river. The staff were fantastic and they went out of their way to be helpful and kind to me. In particular, Syd at the front desk who worked to get me the same suite, which was unnecessary but much appreciated. Syd, without my asking also brought me sparkling waters numerous times as this is all I can drink. He also sent me a lovely hand written get well card during my stay and always asked about me and offered to help in every way. Rhonda is another person who was very kind and sweet. I can’t remember all their names, Melissa I think was another. In any case they made my stays over the grueling min of chemo and radiation so much better for me. I can’t rem
Positive: good location. nice gym Negative: The hair dryer in my room was broken. I asked for a new one but it took a VERY LONG time for it to arrive (30+ minutes). Ultimately, I couldn't dry my hair and was late to my meeting (the purpose of my trip)
