Hyatt Place Waco - South

This hotel was perfect for our quick one night stay in Waco. Great hospitality; allowed to check in a little early, and also given a late check out upon our request. Thanks so much, Joycie! Room was clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was free and available. Lovely little hotel! We'll definitely return the next time we're in Waco.

Stayed here for a couple days due to work. First off the breakfast was pretty good! The receptionist at the front desk where very friendly and and welcoming! The room I had was clean furniture was comfy!. The restroom clean and nicely organized. Walls are very thin tho. You able to hear people in hallways that are just walking by and you can here other conversation just by walking through the hallway. Other than that its pretty cool. Love it!.

Positive: The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable. Good breakfast selections! Negative: There is some wear and tear starting to show in the rooms. Elevators need new flooring. The room doors are very heavy and difficult to open.

I booked one night through Expedia and stayed without issue. The next morning, I asked the front desk to add one additional night. The desk agent had some difficulty but ultimately told me it was successfully added and ran my card again. I stayed that second night and checked out the following morning. Later, I discovered I was charged for an extra night that I did not stay. I have since called the hotel seven times and spoken with four different front desk agents. Every employee I spoke with was polite, and two of them even acknowledged that the original desk agent (who no longer works there) likely made a mistake when extending my stay. Everyone agrees the error is obvious. However, the General Manager, Diana, is apparently the only person who can issue a refund. Each time I’m transfe

I will certainly consider booking at this location in the future, and this company will be among my initial choices. This was my first experience with this hotel, and everything proceeded seamlessly. They provide bilingual customer service, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The room was very clean and well-equipped for a comfortable stay, with the exception of a microwave in the room. However, one is available in the dining area. They also offer breakfast, a pool, and a gym, which I highly recommend.
