Hyatt Place Vacaville

Our room was very well-stocked and clean. ||||Fresh linens, a scrubbed tub, clean restroom. and room heating, was impeccable and desired. ||||The issue I observed is that there was no microwave provided in each room, nor a ice machine on each floor. ||Being on the 1st floor, I had to go to the 2nd floor in order to warm food, or collect ice. This was difficult as I was assisting a disabled person, and it was inconvenient to go between floors in order to provide basic care. ||Lack of trash receptacles for guests in the hallway or coved areas that are approved by fire code doctrine, is greatly needed. ||||I was impressed by the housekeeping staff, ie "Carmelita" for ensuring all our needs were met, and ensuring professional guest satisfaction regarding cleanliness concerns were addressed.

I travel to Vacaville a few times a year. This is my favorite hotel to stay at. Very clean rooms, comfy beds and nice pillows. The only draw back for me is I have to walk or uber when I get there and this hotel is near end of the main strip. There is a good restaurant called Brass Tap down the street.

Positive: A great location. Safe and secure. Easy to access. Very consistent quality with this hotel. Negative: No complaints

This hotel is advertised as pet friendly. After Paying full price for the room. The hotel has you sign a pet policy form that states will charge you for damages your pet makes. Even if your pet doesn’t damage the room in anyway you will be charged a $75 fee. When checking out the next day, I was told the $75 would be refunded in three days. Was never refunded.

Simple hotel. Rooms are modern and spacious. Self-service breakfast is ok, nothing fancy but enough for a quick breakfast before heading out. Gym is small and very basic with 2 treadmills and 1 elliptic trainer and some free weights.
