Holiday Inn Express & Suites Vacaville by IHG

Very clean and modern, with a comfortable atmosphere. Rooms are nice with the amenities one would expect. I appreciate the nearly complete tree cover surrounding the building, giving a more private feel. While I didn't use them, the existence of the indoor pool and fitness room was nice as well. Staff seemed friendly and attentive. Breakfast is as good as hotel breakfasts can get, with a decent selection of food and didn't taste cheap.

On holiday for three weeks in the US you have to watch the accommodation pennies. | After being at the budget end of the budget hotels, this made a refreshing change. You forget how good HIE can be. | The reception on my arrival was a bit on the frosty side, but perhaps we were all at the end of a long, hot day. The rest of the staff I met were friendly and engaging. Rooms were large, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had all the amenities and, like the room, was spotless. The free breakfast was well stocked and had lots of choice. All in all, a very pleasant two night stay.| The only negative (not really) as usual in CA , the states short of water but I've never been in a hotel were the push plug wash basin stopper works, clearly this is a harder nut to crack than putting

Positive: Overall a great experience! Negative: The guests in the neighboring room were talking loud very early in the morning. Very rude and inconsiderate.

Rooms were fair you could hear your neighbor, so the walls are fairly thin. I hope I didn’t wake them with my alarm, however overall it was quiet. Enjoyed that they had breakfast available free of charge. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Laundry faculty on site if needed. Ease of access from the freeway.

I used to come here with my wife because it was very comfortable and welcoming. Since the renovations a couple years ago it is now sterile and cold feeling. I guess they are clean. So there's that. The pool is also closed right now which was he main reason we booked here. And they removed the benches to sit on outside for some reason.
