Hyatt Place Savannah Airport

Booked this hotel in May of last year. I use the app for Hyatt related stuff. I even checked the app ahead of time to mentally prepare myself. There was no indication in the app that the hotel was under construction or that the elevator was down. So I get there and they tell me they have a room on the second floor and the elevator is down. I am disabled, and a second floor room would not be accessible for me. I don’t need a wheelchair accessible room, but they all acted like I screwed up by not requesting a 1st floor room. But I don’t need a first floor room in hotels with elevators. Which is what I was assuming because, again, there was no indication in the app that the hotel was under construction. When the front desk guy told me that’s all they had, I asked, “so what am I supposed to

Positive: The staff was wonderful Negative: Our room flooded so we were moved to another room but every single surface was sticky and you can tell the room has not been cleaned well. There were oil stains on the couch and the shower was grimey

The air conditioner is really noisy.

We had wonderful experience at this hotel. The check in staff was warm and friendly. Spacious room had extra linen. Different variety of breakfast from pancakes to salad and even tortilla and others as well. Easy check in and check out. On site parking available.

I would like to say that my stay at the hotel was a great experience. The front desk namely Terry was a great help with booking my stay as well as checking me in and even helping with my bags due to elevator issues. Terry was also there when we checked out and made sure everything was perfect with our billing and stay Thank you!!!
