Hyatt Place North Charleston

Staff were wonderful. When we arrived, we got smiling faces and two staff members ready to check us in and give us recommendations. We asked about local dining and authentic food from the area and they gave us many selections to choose from. We took their advice and were not disappointed. The room we got was spacious and wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the room felt like a small studio apartment. We will stay here again!! Note: while we were there, one elevator was not working and the other was very slow. Take the stairs if you can, it may be much quicker.

I experienced great customer service. The operations manager Ellery Valerie was delightful to speak with. She was very informative and was polite. The hotel overall was nice and my room was clean. The water was not as hot as expected but other than that it was fine for the night I stayed there.

Positive: Location, included parking, free breakfast Negative: Room need deep clean-cobwebs in the corners & dust. Pool was closed for entire stay-3 nights & passes to another hotel's pool were not offered, nor was reasonable compensation. Staff was not available during checkout. Hallway noise is heard in the room.

Staff was great. The room was old and smelled really bad. The hotel in general is run down. Food, dirt, scratches in the elevator and the halls. I booked two nights with points. We left first thing in the am and didn’t return for the second free night. We then stayed somewhere else. I had to wash our clothes from the room smell.

The ladies in the front, Miss Washington and Emily were so nice and amazing. The rooms are clean. The hotel is spectacular. They have the best breakfast in the morning. Everything is free and complementary. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. It is amazing.
