Customer Reviews
My husband and I just checked out this morning. We travel a lot, and have had some wild experiences, but I absolutely love this hotel! It was clean, the staff was respectful, and check in and out was easy. The gentleman at the front desk (day shift) made my entire week! He was SO FRIENDLY, positive, and welcoming. He made our experience here amazing! He’s honestly the best front desk associate I’ve ever come across (and again, I travel ALOT so that says a lot.)
Positive: Our room was great and the breakfast was wonderful Negative: One of the elevators had a broken button to our floor so we had to change on a lower floor to get to our room. The pool had sand all over the bottom of it and had debris floating on the top. We tried skimming it but did no good.
This hotel was fine, with some pros and cons. The rooms are very spacious but outdated, the lobby looked a lot newer than the rooms. The bathroom was extremely small and not very nice. It would be nice to have a microwave if there is a small sink and fridge. The front desk staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was great, although it would have been nice if it went an hour later since their check-in/out times were very generous. There was an issue an issue with someone leaving their small yappy dog in their room barking for hours, and a woman complaining to the front desk was livid (it was wayy over the top), but some of the staff and guests seemed to be eyeing my dog as if he were the culprit and capable of sounding like a 20 pound dog when he is at least twice that.
Everything was great the breakfast is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is good you have Bob Evans, McDonald's, Cracker barrel. There is a little shopping center in walking distance where you will find antique stores. Good place at night is Sports Bar, Music City Grill if you are not going downtown they are all in the shopping center. Take a uber down town not too expensive $24 and there was 4 of us. Enjoy we stayed Monday to Friday which more than enough time.
This hotel had extremely nice staff. The breakfasts were superb every morning with their plethora of food options. The free shuttle rides to and from the Gaylord Opryland was a great convenient bonus since I was staying for a work trip. Even if you miss the hourly shuttle between 8 AM to 6 PM, an Uber/Lyft ride won't cost more than $7 on average to get you there. The manager himself shuttled me at one point and asked me if I wanted to take my time enjoying the Christmas lights on the way back. Overall, this hotel's staff is the epitome of southern hospitality and charm. It isn't the fanciest hotel, but its clean rooms, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast makes me a fan!
