Hyatt Place Houston/Galleria

I came here for a class which was held in the conference room. The place was super clean. The employees were respectful and professional. The valet staff was super helpful!! The staff also adjusted the ac when we were freezing so super considerate. They had lemon water available and plenty of tables with seating as well as a projector and a TV if needed. Overall, the perfect place to hold meetings and classes.

This hotel was absolutely amazing and in a great location. Everything was convenient and easy to get to, which made our stay even better.||The staff was absolutely wonderful and so helpful from start to finish. Housekeeping cleaned our room every day and it was always spotless, which we really appreciated.||One thing I have never seen at any other hotel was what they did during Christmas week. They had fresh baked cookies, hot cocoa, marshmallows, and a gorgeous Christmas tree set up in the lobby. It truly made us feel like we were part of a community. All the families gathered, talked, and enjoyed the moment together, and it was just wonderful.||We had such a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

I booked this hotel because it says that this hotel does have an outdoor and heated indoor pool, but only to find out that only a small indoor pool that wasn’t even warm at all. So for us, it was a misleading information, my son is expecting for an outdoor pool for his birthday celebration here but he just got disappointed. Second is, I ask the housekeeping if she can give me a laundry bag, but she is kinda rude and says “no!”.

Overall this place was not as advertised. There is no restaurant and the bar is not, or was not staffed so it was difficult to get service. It is a minimal lobby bar, which should have been advertised as such. The showers were not hot and the shower heads were old and needed to be replaced. The breakfast was decent. Our room had stains on the carpet and on the couch.||What was great was the valet staff! Super nice and fast. The beds were comfortable and the room is nice and dark with the shades down.

First time staying here, and I WILL definitely be back. Checked in, and was greeted with two wonder front desk staff members. Went to our room, and there was a huge wet spot near the window. Went back to the desk and explained the situation and they immediately put me into a different room. They were great for information on where to go for shopping and to eat. The hotel itself is kept impeccable. They are completely about hospitality. From water at the elevator entrance to every staff member being friendly and greeting. The room was fantastic. Very comfortable. Did not feel like your standard hotel room. Their daily free breakfast was the best ive ever had from any other hotel. Overall, I was very very impressed and look forward to staying here again in the future.
