Hyatt Place Durham/Southpoint

Great hotel! Felt very safe with my two children. Nice area with a Bonefish Grill a few steps away and a Chic Filet across the street. Close to the shops at Southside. Beds and pillows were very comfortable! Room was dark and quiet. I would definitely stay here again!

Sometimes we have a good room and great service. It's still one of the better hotels in the area. Don't get room 707 or any cleaned by "Olga." Hair and dust everywhere, the remote was.......gooey..... very obviously not vacuuming. QA should have caught all this. Even the extra pillows requested had stains on the covers. Again, still one of the best in the area. Noel is pretty awesome.

The night staff was exceptionally nice. Rooms are large but furniture was badly stained... One thing I don't like is the omnipresent QR codes asking you to tip the cleaning team. I have no problem with tipping but I have a huge problem with large corporations putting the guilt on me for them not paying their employees a decent salary...

The desk/bar staff the night of my stay were AWESOME in every way. They were attentive and friendly making me feel like I was at home or chatting with friends. When I happen to find myself in this area again, I will definitely be staying here. The entire presentation of the hotel was perfect and the cleanliness of the room was refreshing.
