Hyatt Place Chicago / Wicker Park

We had a very good stay for one night. The room was spacious and very clean, bathroom was well-laid-out, a good shower, a comfortable bed. All the pillows were feathers, but they brought us some very good foam ones. |Why do they make the bathroom door out of glass? It's really annoying when someone uses the bathroom at night, the light goes into the room.|The staff was outstanding, the valet parking was very quick. One comment: there was no-one at the front desk at checkout time, and the online checkout was tricky to use. |Breakfast was better than average, truly delicious scrambled eggs, for example. |And, the views from the 7th floor where the lobby, breakfast, and bar are located were amazing! A great little place in the heart of Wicker Park. Plenty of choices for authentic Chicago food nearby. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The front desk staff was awesome. A big shout out to Nicole. She was extremely helpful. Great personality and friendly.

I can’t rave about this location enough! Nicole and her staff were SO accommodating from holding our luggage before and after check in and check out so we could explore the town all the way to the super clean and delicious complimentary breakfast. Every single staff member we encountered were so pleasant and helpful. I will definitely be back ((:

We recently stayed at the Wicker Park Hyatt for our daughter's wedding. We had family and friends staying, all with varying needs. The staff was friendly and so helpful! We would especially like to acknowledge Judy at the front desk who went out of her way to make our stay so special. Nicole was also so friendly and helpful. Gloria Navarro was a gem to work with to book a conference room where hair and makeup could be completed. Gloria was very helpful from the beginning with contracts, obtaining breakfast, to coordinating clean up at the end of the day. The valet parking staff was also great!! Fernando was fantastic when we showed up with an entire wedding in our vehicle! We loved the rooftop bar and staff! It had such a wonderful ambiance and fantastic views. Will stay here again!

Positive: Good location, clean, friendly staff. Negative: Street noise is very loud in the rooms.
