Hyatt House Washington DC / The Wharf

If I could give this hotel 10 stars, I absolutely would. It was everything and more than we expected. We stayed to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday, and since it was our first time visiting DC, we were hoping for a great experience — and this hotel did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. The front desk went above and beyond, recommending fun, interactive restaurants for us to try, which made our trip even more special. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing. The housekeeping staff also did a wonderful job — it was such a blissful treat to wake up to after a safe and eventful evening. We will definitely be booking several more trips here in the future, especially because the location is absolutely wonderful.

I just got freshly married and we have been hotel hopping for the better part of the past couple weeks. I’ve stayed at many hotels while traveling, and I have to say this was a perfect hotel experience from check in, the staff were exceedingly professional (esp Senessie). The room cleaners were safe with our belongings. The breakfast area was staffed with just kind and helpful professionals. The room was clean, and the shower was strong and hot. All amenities were always supplied. It seems like Hyatt House understands what their guests are seeking, all the bases are covered. Other hotels seem to be strong on some and not others. This hotel understands that all the bases must be covered. The hotel is modern and sleek with a great fitness center as well. And best of all, check out is at 12pm

Great hotel with everything you need! Beds are great and of high quality (I am picky with beds) and breakfast buffet is great too! Fully equipped room with iron board and large fridge for your own food! Pool maybe a bit busy but gym is great!

ALL the staff were friendly and super helpful. The room was clean and comfy, and you can’t beat the view! The TV in the middle of the room is different, but it allows you to watch it from the bed or the couch. The hotel breakfast was substantial (eggs, potatoes, pancakes or waffles, breakfast meat, and other options), but the coffee was TERRIBLE (sludge in the bottom). We went to Starbucks or used the in-room coffee maker after the first encounter. But the LOCATION is just unbeatable. So many great places to eat, and the picturesque setting! We loved our stay. Thank you!

We loved your hotel! It was in a great location and the extra money spent on a waterfront room was well worth it! The room was super clean with nice sheets and shower (but bed could use a new mattress). |Breakfast was delicious and the servers were kind and efficient. |The front desk personnel were exceptional.
