Hyatt House Salt Lake City/Sandy

At first glance, this place seems pretty good. They have a shuttle. They’re very centrally located. But the airport is too far away for the shuttle to take you there. I’ve never heard of an hotel that won’t take you to the airport on their shuttle. And there’s nothing, and I mean nothing walkable from this location. The shuttle doesn’t run early enough to catch the ski bus, I probably spent more on Ubers than I would have just staying at the ski resort. The staff was nice and the breakfast was good.

Our second time back to this hotel and we love it! The staff here makes all the difference. They are the best! Friendly, professional, hard working and genuinely good people. Especially Paco. The hotel is very clean, has a full kitchen, has a free shuttle to take you anywhere within 5 miles including to the ski bus stations, and a heated pool and jacuzzi. Complimentary hot breakfast is available and we appreciate that they have an omelette station too. Thank you for making our vacation so nice. We will definitely stay here again next time we return to ski in Utah.

Nice large rooms. Good breakfast options. Difficult to sleep with the road noise from the freeway. If you get lucky with a room facing away from the freeway consider yourself lucky. We were on the side facing outward. Traffic was loud all night long impacting sleep.

Stayed here for a couple of nights recently on a business trip. Great experience overall. I really like the Hyatt House brand due to the size of the rooms and the separate living room and kitchen areas, hence the 'House' in Hyatt House. |The rooms themselves are nice. Not the most modern so if you're expecting something sleek and modern/shiny, this ain't it. Instead it's an older/simpler design which is perfectly fine for a comfortable few nights when traveling. The bathroom is a good size, clean and the shower has very good water pressure. |All the staff that I interacted with were wonderful. Friendly and genuinely seemed to care about my stay. |I had a big issue getting to Utah and kept in touch with the hotel staff over text, which they were great at. |It's affordable, clean, well staff
