Hyatt House Raleigh North Hills

Every time I come into Raleigh this is the hotel I like to book. It's in a perfect location where I can select from several different restaurants, and even go to the grocery store without driving anywhere. Every thing is in walking distance. The rooms are comfortable with decent space, and a small kitchen area. Morning breakfast is okay, complimentary, and offers both hot and cold options. Staff seems to be always pleasant and helpful. What I don't like is the parking. They used to have free parking that was very convenient. However, during my last stay, I was told that the city took over all or most of the parking in the area, so now you are required to pay for valet or self parking. Not the hotels fault, but it does cause an inconvenience for that area. I believe valet was $30 a day and

Breakfast was good. Front desk staff was polite and helpful. The parking is a hassle. I spent an hour trying to find the garage and level I can park on. The map of where you can park free has to be put on an 8 by 11 sheet and explained more clearly. The bed linens looked like they were not changed but they could have simply been wrinkled from the dryer.

Positive: Lobby and public areas are beautiful. Room is smartly designed and clean, but had messy repairs (see below). Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast staff were totally on their game with keeping it hot and fresh. Desk staff was quick and friendly. Negative: Room needed TLC. Messy plaster patches behind the bathroom door and near the shower should have been sanded & painted. The shower had messy sealant repair near the base. Broken lamp shade by the bed. The electrical sockets by the bed are super loose.

We just spent Friday night here while waiting on our car to be fixed at BMW of Raleigh. This location was perfect for us and walkable which was important. From the moment we walked in the customer service was great. The two gentlemen who worked yesterday were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our room and found it comfortable. Will will definitely be staying here when we come back to the city again.

Checked in about two weeks ago in the evening and Christina was extremely accommodating even as I was waiting for my card company to fix some issues I was having at the desk. Hotel is centrally located near everything of convenience, grocery store across the street, plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants, target a 10 minute walk away, just an excellent choice of location. The laundry on site was bigger than expected and is convenient for my long stay. 24 hour small gym yet has everything one would need for a good workout. Complimentary breakfast that rotates pancakes, waffles and french toast - love! Staff are extremely welcoming and hospitable. Rooms are spacious and kitchenette comes with everything you would need.
