Hyatt House Boston/Burlington

The Hyatt House in Burlington, Massachusetts is a wonderful place to stay. Coming from a hospitality management background, I was genuinely impressed. I’ve stayed here a few times recently while having surgery at Lahey Hospital, and from the moment I checked in, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. The facility and rooms were exceptionally clean, breakfast was good, and the location couldn’t be more convenient—just a five-minute drive to the hospital, shopping, and plenty of restaurants. Whether you’re a patient, visiting someone at Lahey, or simply looking for a comfortable place to stay while enjoying some great shopping, this hotel is an excellent choice. Nice hotel in which some aspects were great, but others could use a little work. Dee at the front desk is super friendly and welcoming, She was so nice upon check-in and very informative. Our room was clean. Breakfast buffet was good. The hallways weren't vacuumed at all during our stay and had a weird smell. Upon check-out, I noticed we were charged for an extra night of parking. The front desk clerk removed the charge, but if I hadn't reviewed my online invoice, I probably would have checked out without noticing the extra charge. Be sure to review your invoice!

My family and I stayed at this location for a little over two weeks while waiting for our home to be ready. The area is convenient — most shopping centers and stores are within a 10–15 minute drive, and there’s a good variety of options. Breakfast was decent, though as a Southerner I’ll say the eggs could definitely be cooked a bit longer. The on‑site laundromat has two solid washers; the middle one didn’t meet expectations, but all of the dryers worked well. The gym is small and more suited for light workouts, but it’s enough to maintain your routine for a short stay. The Hyatt House is ca terrific hotels. the suites are awesome. Lots of room and very comfortable. Kristina at the front desk was terrific! Our room was quiet. It was great that there was a refrigerator and stove in the room. This||was my second time staying here, and I would definitely come to the Hyatt House again!

Positive: Clean and quiet. Negative: I thought the add-on charge to park was ridiculous. Most hotels don’t charge to park unless it’s a very congested metro area. This hotel had plenty of self parking.
