Hyatt Centric Beale Street Memphis

So far, I’ve had a great experience overall. I had to move from another hotel up the street, but Hyatt Centric made the transition super easy. The room is very comfortable and clean, and the front desk staff has been friendly and accommodating from the moment I arrived. I also had to leave to retrieve something I left at the other hotel, and Ricky, the valet, was incredibly helpful and very quick getting my car. His professionalism really stood out. Overall, a smooth and welcoming experience!

The hotel was lovely. The room was enjoyable--I had a view of the Mississippi River. However, if you have dietary needs, you may want to look elsewhere to have an excellent hotel experience.||||Before attending the conference at this hotel, I let my dietary needs--gluten-free vegetarian--be known to the conference staff before arriving and to the hotel staff at the first provided meal. No GF breads were out, and fruit was not an option due to the dietary needs of another one of the participants. A GF vegetarian fratta was available, but I prefer not to eat eggs. Sweet potato bits were my only choice. ||||What fit my dietary needs for lunch was salad (with no protein source) and steamed vegetables. ||||Lunch the next day did have a nice soup that was supposedly a GF vegetarian option

We purchased a king room using the photos on the website only to get a room not shown anywhere on the site. The location was outstanding considering the walking distance to Beale Street. The parking was $16 daily, $33 overnight no in and out by valet. When right across the street is a public parking location for $15 overnight. We will never go back here it was very unexpected and unfortunate.

Positive: "" Negative: It took over an hour to get my car back from valet service to leave in the morning... there was only one person working for the whole hotel at 10:30 am... unacceptable

I stayed at the Hyatt for 2 weeks. I love this hotel! The valet is the absolute best. Ricky Brown, Kelson & Mario had my schedule down to a science and always had my car ready without me saying anything. The staff here is polite and on point with everything.
