Hummingbird Inn

This place was everything we could have needed for our short stay. Rooms were very comfy and clean and spacious. Dogs were so comfy. Staff was extremely friendly. Lobby was super cozy and inviting. Pool was nice and water was heated. Walking distance to everything but just far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again for sure.

This place is ADORABLE. Very cute rooms and lobby. Plenty of counter space and I love that there is a fridge and microwave. It's just a 3 minute drive down the main drag to get to all the shops and restaurants. There is a short walk to an Italian restuarant, however. The only feedback I have is on the room: please add a couple bottles of free water. Even just the small bottles. We found ourselves filling up our bottles with the tap. I don't mind the tap but our group felt, that if there's free coffee, there should be some free water in the room as well. Lastly, these rooms are not sound proof like a room in a corporate hotel. It would be nice if there was a sign outside the rooms, to be quiet until they reach the parking lot. We heard a lot of yelling just outside our door in the early m

I recently stayed at the hummingbird Inn and was shocked at their horrible customer service. I simply requested early check-in, 1 PM instead of 3 PM and the girl at the front desk made zero effort to accommodate that never asked housekeeping to clean my room and just kept repeating herself saying we can’t guarantee early check-in. I never asked for a guarantee, I just asked for an attempt. Hours later when I arrived at 1:15 PM, the room was not ready and she admitted she had never made a request for it too be cleaned. This was surprising since this is not an unusual request at a hotel and she said all of this with a Taking a back look on her face like she’d never heard anyone make such crazy request!! she then proceeded to give me a big story about the housekeeping supervisor was at lunch

Our stay at The Hummingbird was nearly perfect. Our room was spacious, clean and very quiet. It had a microwave and mini-fridge and a hot water kettle. They even left some treats for our dog. We were able to walk everywhere and leave our car safely in their parking lot. They provided coffee and tea in the lobby every morning. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay again.

We only stayed for one night but we loved it! Cute, clean rooms, good AC, good snacks, comfy beds. I wish there were robes for that price but that's okay. The pool is very lovely, as is the lobby. I drank the free morning coffee (Canyon Coffee) in the lobby as the morning light shone in, and I read some of the books in the lobby. The people who work there are very nice as well. Check-in and checkout are easy. I also liked that the hotel is on the main drag but not in the thick of things. If we stay here next time, I'd love to try out the bikes.
