Howard Johnson by Wyndham Columbus State Fairgrounds I-71

This was by far this worst hotel I have EVER stayed in. My son is currently in OSU Wexner Medical Hospital and my husband and I are taking turns at hotels because my son is only allowed one overnight visitor. We were looking for cheap, clean and close to the hospital. The toilet seat was not made for the toilet, the toilet tank did not have a lid, there was no cross safety bar on the door and the door had to be shoved to open and close. The proprietors of this hotel should be ashamed of themselves. We have located a very nice hotel for about $10 more that is basically a suite with separate living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette that we will be utilizing. I advise that no one stays here, and if you do, do so at your own risk and unhappiness. AGAIN…..SHAME ON THE OWNERS!

Positive: The hotel was nice. It was clean. It didn’t have bugs or I didn’t see any. I think the walls can be cleaner. Negative: He did not have cable channels. The tub was dirty. The walls were dirty. I had to change my room from a two bed to a one bed. because it’s too big the heat did not work.

We booked this hotel for a business trip me & my husband. Checking in wasn’t bad! However when we got to our room this room looked like a horrible movie scene regarding broke down hotels that were dumps! When we sat on the bed we sank into the center of the bed it felt like the bed was about to collapse. The carpet was so filthy & disgusting 🤢 “so don’t take off your shoes” it smelled like an old rusty creepy abandoned house! The door to the restroom was damaged like someone’s fist 🤜 went straight through it ! Mind you the wall Leading to the restroom had bullet holes 😮😬 “I hope that person survived”! The holes Were patched up but that was poorly fixed!!’ The restroom was just plain gross 🤮 we didn’t even want to take a shower we were too afraid to even take our clothes off! We called fro

This place has really starting to turn around ever since wydamn took over.They are changing this place for the better.The rooms still need a little work, but you can start to see the changes they are making .The service was really friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here agian.

Positive: Nothing it was infested with roaches I didn’t stay at all I asked for a refund that I still have not received I’m highly unsatisfied Negative: Yes the nastiness and roaches
