Howard Johnson by Wyndham Bangor

Stayed here for one night while on a road trip. It was clean and in a convenient location. Could use some updating overall. Beds and pillows were comfortable. They offered a "bag to go" breakfast which we didn't use. They do accept dogs at a reasonable rate. If I wasn't travelling with a dog I would have stayed somewhere else for almost the same price.

It was so nice to stay in a clean comfortable room that didn't break the bank. My wife is having to see specialist at the hospital in Bangor, and we live four hours north of the hospital and needed to stay close so we didn't have to drive at night. The room was perfect.

Positive: Clean, good sized room Negative: Hallway had a very strong air freshener scent.

I was very disappointed with how the hotel handled a simple coffee spill. We accidentally spilled some coffee and used a towel from the room to clean it up. When we checked out, they charged me for the towel and refused to return it, saying it was a “Wyndham towel.” It felt petty and unprofessional — a small stain that could easily be washed shouldn’t cost a guest extra. I’ve stayed at many hotels and never had this kind of experience before. Definitely not the kind of guest service I expect from a Wyndham property.

Nice remodel. Clean room and very comfortable bed. Will definitely stay again if I'm nearby Excellent price on Priceline
