What a wonderful find we were fortunate to experience. The hotel recently changed management and when we return we'll know if the standards continue. The staff was clearly trained in service and satisfaction. Very attentive and not lacking in caring. The one issue we experienced really bright a slight damper on our visit to Houston. We tried really hard to schedule a spa experience located on the property however, we eventually have up. We arrived on Wednesday, the spa isn't open on Wednesday, and we're informed by the front desk that they would help us to schedule a time on Thursday. We realized late in the afternoon that we had not booked so we called the front desk from dinner. The front desk transferred is to the spa so we could leave a message however, we were concerned for availabil
We will start with the good. The valet staff were nice and welcoming. The check-in staff was friendly and nice. John, our bellman was AMAZING. We loved him. Super nice and friendly and inviting. The bar staff were horrible. We came in from a day of travel in jeans and t-shirts and we were ignored. All three bartenders waited on the men in suits and the ladies in dresses, but ignored us. The shower took over 30 minutes to get warm enough to shower in. The shower head sprayed water everywhere except down. The room is more spacious than a run of the mill hotel, but basically the same thing you get anywhere. Not worth the money. And I’m pretty sure it was a staff member who stole my phone. Overall, decent enough place. Keep your phone and electronics locked up, they will disappear. And if you
Very disappointing stay. Very low level of service. From the moment we arrived it was clear it well below St Regis standard and felt like the low end of the Marriott chain hotel ( not towards the top end like it should be) |No one greeted us or offered to handle our luggage upon arrival. Check in was friendly enough but not notable. |Room had outdated radio which was unusable and had an old fashioned shower-bath combo |We went to the bar in the evening and service was very very slow ( bar and restaurant were almost empty). Table was dirty. |We left the hotel the next morning at 900am for the day and returned at 330 with the room still not cleaned. We had even spoke with the floor housekeeper as we left in the morning so she knew we’d be gone and back mid afternoon. We called the fron
I have stayed at hotels all over the world, and typically travel upwards of 100 days a year before covid. We had such a wonderful time. The hotel is great, but the staff and the attention to detail was even greater. I would like to give a special recognition to Rocio who brought us room service each night, and to Gilberto and Alexandra who checked us in. We ordered room service each night, and Rocio was just such a delight to my young girls every night as she brought us our every order, and she made an extra effort at describing each food item and condiment, and just being excellent at her job. Gilberto and Alexandra at check in likewise helped me book an extra room, and Alexandra was just especially attentive with every little thing I asked, including an ice pack for my daughter who hit
My beautiful girlfriends and I had a lovely time enjoying tea time at the St Regis hotels. Service was impeccable. The room had cozy settings, sofas, coffee tables, a spectacular round table for the six of us. The china was dainty and we all felt special as we shared various teas offered, tasty finger sandwiches and unique tarts. They provided a talented harp musician that set the perfect ambiance. Valet service was quality and inexpensive. Overall our visit was fabulous. We look forward to another afternoon tea time together.
