Hotel Solara I-45 & College Ave

This is one of the sketchy places I’ve ever been. From the second I saw the plastic partition at check in, I knew I screwed up. We just got a day room while waiting for a flight. This is a motel and looks like a place you rent by the hour. There’s a random tv on the ceiling for some odd reason. The pillows are about 1 inch thick and the carpet was disgusting. There’s not a chance in hell I’d use the shower or towels here. We had our room until 2pm. As we were opening the door to exit at 2:01, they were calling us to leave. They rushed in immediately as we left to clean it and giving us dirty looks. Stay away!!!!

The room was clean. I paid for a king bed with the flatscreen on the ceiling and on the wall they took out adult TV, which was the purpose of getting that room and the TV on the ceiling was basic TV and very static I paid $130 for a basic room. I was very upset.

I only get to stay one night a year but it's definitely grown in a modern and respectful hotel since I saw the opening opening

So the concept of the design is studio, one bedroom, and is super clean and cute. The staff is friendly. Back to the room, It has two televisions. Shower is so refreshing. The reason I put 4 out of 5 stars is: the checkout time is 10:30am, no door for the restroom and you can hear the sound of cars flying in on the highway.

Rented a room for the night and we were SUPER impressed. Very clean, very modern and super comfy. The TV on the ceiling was so cool! We had a nice little fridge, microwave and a top notch AC unit. Will be referring this hotel to all my family, friends and listeners on my show. Very reasonable pricing as well.
