Hotel Rio Vista

We stayed here one night while passing through the area. Online listings showed a single queen room available, but when we walked into the office, we were told they only had kings and double queens. I mentioned that I could just book the queen online, and suddenly a single queen “became” available. Odd, but we went with it. ||The room itself was quaint and fit the character of the western town. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the view over the creek was beautiful. The only odd design choice was the sink being located in the main part of the room rather than in the separate toilet/shower area, which made brushing teeth and washing up a little awkward. ||Unfortunately, we were rudely woken up at 9 am by someone very aggressively trying to enter our room. On a random decision to relax with a hotel rather than camp on my fall photography outing I couldn't of made a better choice with this establishment. The parking and easy to access room were a bonus and the views... I walked down along the river but from the room just as pretty. The rustic feel of the rooms and the basic necessities made for a pleasant stay. Checkout was so simple and you've earned a repeat customer. Thanks 👍🏻

The location, convenience, and comfort were the most important while we chose a place to stay and the Rio Vista Hotel did not disappoint. The plus being next door to the bakery for a delicious cinnamon roll and hot Latte made for the perfect stay.

They were very accommodating in getting us room last minute. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and of course they have an amazing view of the Chewuch River. The location is perfect, within a very short walk of everything Winthrop has to offer. We’ll definitely stay there again.

We were warmly welcomed and learned where everything was on the property. The check-in was efficient. The best part is when we got to our room. The view was spectacular, the room clean, it smelt good, and was aesthetically nice.
