Hotel Palmeras Chula Vista

booked for a quick 2 night trip and it was so dirty. They definitely don’t mop floors or clean the tub often at all. Didn’t notice till the second day that there was hairs and residue in the tub & we were getting ready for bed and we see two spiders! We moved the table to be able to eat & boom cockroaches! Also found an old eyelash strip… seems like if they determine it doesn’t look “dirty” they don’t clean. if you can afford the extra $30+ for surrounding hotels definitely do so. only good thing about it was the surrounding eats. definitely won’t be back.

This place ruined our trip to Comic Con!! Booked our room for 2 nights and got a call an hour ahead of check in time saying our room was cancelled because a 3rd party site (hotels.com) over booked them. Total BS as I booked our rooms a YEAR in advance. But the rate I booked those two nights at was half of what they were charging for 1 night. We planned our entire trip around that hotel and rate, coming from Wisconsin (32 hrs just to get here) Such unhonest bull crap they pulled. Had to find a different hotel at more than 3x what we had booked our room for. Now can't afford things as we still need to get home after going to the Con tomorrow. I've been staying for a while now Alyssa and Janet are so nice and welcoming. The pool gets clean regularly my kids love it and so do I the housekeepers are so nice always ready to help you if you have need can't wait to go back in January
