Hotel Monte Vista

I had an amazing time during my stay at the Monte Vista. Everyone was so nice and the hotel was a historical wonderland. The bars downstairs were hopping and popping. That being said it was no disturbance to my room on the second floor. The bartenders and the hotel staff were absolutely amazing. Everything was totally awesome.I would recommend staying to anyone.

It's a beautiful old building, built in 1926 and the location in historic downtown is great. That's where the positives end, for us. They put us in a room that measured about 12 X 15. The closet was as wide as Rob's suitcase and about 4 feet tall. The bathroom was about the size of a broom closet. We had to sit on the bed to watch the little TV. The water just trickled out of the faucet and the baseboard electric heat barely worked. This is important when it's 20F outside. Our room was freezing. We had to request extra blankets to try to get warm for the night. There were 4 electrical outlets, one behind the bed. They were too loose to keep anything plugged in so our phones and little speaker ran out of juice and our laptops were borderline. We were supposed to stay 4 nights bu

The service was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a bar on the east side that appeals to some really loud and obnoxious people. They were drunk and yelling in the street all night long. We slept very little for the entire stay. On top of that, the hot water went out during the first night, and th temperature was in the teens. The staff did give us a credit for that, but it didn't help enough to make me want to return there ever again.

The hotel is beautiful from the inside of didn’t expect no 5star hotel is a unique and very historical building plus the history to this location. Also having said this hotel is haunted is a plus! We stayed one night and me and my partner both had nightmares in this room couldn’t sleep after 2:30pm and our dreams were about the room! Pretty creepy!! Definitely recommend if you love the paranormal.

We had a great stay . The TV didn’t work and the toilet kept running , I will say they sent someone up and they fixed both issues right away. The room could use new bedding and pillows. Parking was very limited and once you get a spot don’t move your vehicle for duration of stay - Uber everywhere) otherwise you will need to park down the street in a parking garage. We stayed in a room claimed to be very haunted but seen and felt nothing. Downtown is a fun adventure and it’s worth a trip to Flagstaff
