Hotel La Jolla, Curio Collection by Hilton

Our stay at Hilton La Jolla Curio was exceptional! We had an ocean view room that brought in a wonderful breeze, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. The location was perfect—close to La Jolla Village but far enough to avoid traffic, with a clean surrounding area and easy access to coffee shops, shops, and restaurants. From the very first night, getting to know the restaurant staff elevated the entire experience. The manager, EJ, crafted incredible drinks and gave us local recommendations that were all amazing. Our server, Arturo, made each meal memorable, and after full days of touring, returning to the restaurant felt like the highlight of our stay. 10/10—we would visit again!

Nice hotel Don't stay on the 10th floor. The restaurant is above on the 11th floor. Around 545am they start dragging tables around to "set up". The noise is extremely loud and wakes you up. This continues for at least an hour or more Then it starts up again around 9pm when they close the restaurant and continues until 11pm. When thats done they start moving other things on rolling carts up and down the hall to store them in rooms near guest rooms...slamming doors along the way. I called twice to ask if they could not make so much noise. I was told they have to set up and take down the restaurant. What restaurant needs to be constantly set up?? Atmosphere was really nice with all the beautiful interior and with the views of the ocean. My family went for the rooftop restaurant and the food and service was top tier. Our server Laila was really nice and really took care of us and kept a happy atmosphere with conversation. Would come here again.

Positive: The location was great and very close to shops and restaurants. Negative: They did not have any fans in the bathroom for the rooms which I found a bit strange. They charged me an extra $65 for a room on a higher level even as a Hilton Honors member, when they only had maybe 20 rooms booked that night.

I booked my stay at this hotel without checking the reviews first, and once I did, I was honestly nervous about what to expect. To my surprise, my experience was absolutely incredible. My room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with a stunning balcony view that stretched from the ocean to the sunset. The thermostat worked perfectly, and although one elevator was out of service, the other was always timely and reliable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I returned each day to a spotless room. The on-site restaurant was delicious, room service was prompt, and the location was ideal—just a quick 10-minute walk to the beach and a lively strip of restaurants.
