Hotel Inn Santa Fe

In today’s episode of “you get what you pay for,” I present to you “Hotel Inn Santa Fe”. We booked one night here very last minute with the understanding and expectation that it was a low priced budget option. Even so, we did not quite expect this level of low. Our first clue should have been the line of unhappy people in the lobby requesting new rooms because of noise (one of whom had been given keys to a new room only to walk in on the occupants already in that room.) Not having much other choice, we mustered up an “it will be ok” attitude, got keys, and headed to our room. Both the hallway and the room smelled reminiscent of stale beer, musty basement, weed and yesterday’s goat curry. Our “standard queen room” did not have a queen bed (it was a full). Just don’t do it. I booked this hotel for a one night stay and I won’t ever be doing it again. The room was covered with carpet and wall stains. The door would barely locked. Towel racks were ripped out of the wall. The walls were covered in holes from previous people. The mattress itself was dirty when I lifted up the sheet. The area itself felt very unsafe. I would not recommend.

Was good but too much noises during the night

Giving this place a 5 to bump up the average - 2.9 at the time of this review. I'd say it's comparable to other motels with a 3.5-3.8 rating. This hotel is a bit rough on the outside but perfectly adequate for a place to sleep and shower. The rooms are relatively clean and comfortable although there's no fridge. The new owners are nice folks and did their best to make our stay comfortable. I wish them success!

This is an absolute dump! Worst hotel Ive ever stayed in. For $55/night you cant expect much but this place is pathetic. The town has probably not inspected this place in years or else the building would have been condemned. Dirty. Stains everywhere in the room, everything is falling apart. Can smell cigarette smoke in the halls, carpets look like they havent been cleaned or replaced since 1970, ice machine is broken down in pieces, the fake balcony had an old sock, cigarette butt and bug screen laying around. Just horrible
