Hotel Indigo Waco - Baylor by IHG

We won a free night at this hotel through a church auction, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect when we arrived, but it is safe to say this hotel has earned our respect as new customers!! It is beautiful, well-maintained, and the staff is so friendly. The room itself was HUGE, and it had beautiful finishes. We cannot wait to come back! We didn’t get to try out their bistro, but have heard great things about it. We’ll get to it next time! Something to note (though this is not on the hotel at all): this is not a safe area to walk around when it gets dark, so just beware if that’s something that’s a must for you! Big homeless population in Waco that hangs around this area, so stay alert.

Everything here was good and ai highly recommend this hotel for anything in Waco. It all started with Karen at the front desk!! She welcomed me with a smirk and good evening. Very professional and great conversationalist at the same time! She deserves a raise no matter what she is already making! This was my first time staying at the Indigo part of the IHG brand although I have been looking forward to staying with them. It is typically higher significantly price than the HIE that I usually stay. However, fortunately for me, it was less inexpensive on the day I needed to stay. The hotel location was amazing with a short walk to George’s, an amazing restaurant. The pool place is super unique and really pretty. The hotel seemed new to me but I heard from a friend it is about 10 yrs old?!?

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times now, and it never disappoints. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to be in the heart of downtown, and the views are absolutely stunning. ​What keeps me coming back is the service. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, making every check-in seamless. The rooms are top-notch—always incredibly clean and well-maintained. I also spend a lot of time enjoying the amenities; the gym and pool area are definitely highlights of the property. ​The only minor suggestion I have is that the common areas, specifically the hallways and elevators, could use a bit of a refresh or extra upkeep to match the high quality of the rooms. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel and a great place to stay. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Mom and 2 adult daughters selected Waco Tx as a central location to meet up for some well needed GIRL TIME. We thoroughly enjoyed the Magnolia Silos and the abundant “ farm to table” food choices. 5 star reviews for Cafe Homestead, J’s Barnettes Whiskey (broad selection) and fabulous Waygu beef, Alpha Omega Grill, magnolia Press coffee bar, and MILOS. FABULOUS. food was not hard to find. Hotel Indigo ( great accomodations) was in walking distance of most outings with a lovely pool. Our 3 day trip was too short to take in all the antiquing opportunities but WE WILL GO BACK! All of us are frequent travelers so we are very discerning about our trips. This was one for the books!! Excellent!!

We booked a block of rooms for my son's wedding in Waco. Hotel Indigo was so helpful and flexible! They adjusted dates for out of state guests, when there was a problem with our wedding link they fixed it and then followed up with the guests, and during our stay they were fantastic! They were helpful with all the little details you need - from a computer cord to deodorant - kept in contact with me to coordinate with various guests, served us great breakfasts and late night drinks - all in all a wonderful experience! Highly recommend.
