Hotel Indigo Flushing - LaGuardia by IHG

Great hotel for going to UBS for a concert. There is a parking garage attached and parking was handled through the hotel. Difficult to get into but easy enough to get out of. The rooms were clean smaller rooms. Guessing this is normal for NYC. There is no bar in the room. The elevator is a bit odd. It paused at times so you might sit for a few while you. Got a nice goody bag when we checked in. Perks are nice. Nice touch. My only complaint is that its pretty loud from traffic. I was on floor 7. I wish I brought a sound machine.

I had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Indigo. The property is fairly new, which really shows in the quality of the rooms—everything felt fresh and there were absolutely no lingering smells, which is a huge plus. For a hotel of this class in Flushing, the price point is on the lower end, making it an excellent value. A major highlight was definitely the view; being able to see the Manhattan skyline from the window was a wonderful bonus. The location couldn't be better. You are right in the center of Flushing and just a block away from Tangram Mall, so you have immediate access to over 100 shops and restaurants. The staff were also super friendly and accommodating throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend it!

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were really nice, especially Chrischel and Madison. The room was spacious enough for me.I like how right the room was in the daytime. In the night, it was a bit dark, they could add some more lights. Most days the room was really cleaned well but there were two days I found the same dirty pillow in my room. After I complained about it one night someone came in, cleaned my room right away. The location is a few minutes walk to Main Street. Usually it would be convenient, but there was some construction or something going on so we always had to take a shuttle to the train.Their luggage storage service is really good.

Worse customer service. Difficult to get hold of someone . I talked with a customer service to book. He confirmed there was a shuttle to the airport. I asked many times about the shuttle before agreeing to the booking. After booking I waited and it was not a shuttle. I requested a refund and they are not getting back to me. Only for booking is a real person after that, the “support” is an automated system. It took me 30 minutes to get hold of someone that transfer me to the automated system again.

Landed at LGA and called the front desk to understand how the shuttle works. Madison answered the phone and was superb in providing instructions, a number to text, and she also communicated to the shuttle driver. I texted the number as well and the driver called afterwards to confirm. The experience was seamless and gratuity is deeply appreciated by the shuttle drivers. For those flying Delta - Terminal C - walk past door 15 to get to the waiting area for hotel shuttles. Check-in process with Madison is delightful and thorough. She’s very professional and warm. Room is great - larger than the ones we’ve stayed at in Manhattan with high ceilings. Insulated fairly well from the street noise. Heat is loud - but, it’s like white noise to me.
