Customer Reviews
The location of this hotel is top notch if you want to stay in the French Quarter. The staff is very nice, polite, and informative. The hallways were nice and cool (thank goodness because most hotel hallways are hot). The ambiance is awesome in this hotel. The rooms are great. Simplistic but decorated very well. We had a minibar, fridge, coffee, plenty of storage, and a very nice bath. Everything is super clean and we had a great view of the pool/courtyard. We will most definitely give this hotel another shot in the future when we come back to NOLA.
Stayed here for 2 nights celebrating my husband's 50th birthday. From Valet Jared to the front desk Jasmine, Felicity & Ayana, to Red in the restaurant, to Britney at the bar to Amber the housekeeping manager. When I tell you they are like the Chick-fil-a in the hotel industry when it comes to customer service. Trust & believe they lacked nothing. Exceptional service from the time we pull in til we left. Great location , walking distance from all the popular spots. Already planning our next trip to return.
We had a wonderful experience. We only did a 1 night stay to attend a wedding reception. The location is within walking distance of Cathedral, Cafe Du Mone and Bourbon Street. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Really enjoyed my stay - the rooms were cozy stylish, and well designed, the location was perfect - insanely close to everything but still quiet at night in the courtyard facing rooms. The free champagne was a nice touch and the whole place felt safe and secure, especially as a solo traveler. I was here for a work trip and wished I could have stayed at La Poste all 4 days instead of just 2 (especially when I realized how noisy the hyatt was...). I'll definitely be back in warmer weather to see a different side of the city and take advantage of the pool.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel de la Poste and can’t recommend it enough. The location is perfect - right in the French Quarter and close to everything, yet still felt comfortable and relaxing. From the moment we arrived, the hotel embodied true Southern hospitality. Every staff member we encountered was warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming. Our room was fantastic, and the bed deserves special mention...I rarely sleep well in hotels, but it was so comfortable we slept for 12 hours straight! The restaurant and bar on property were also excellent. We enjoyed one dinner and all of our breakfasts there, and everything, from the food to the drinks to the atmosphere was top-notch. The space is clean, bright, and classy, and sitting by the window with lattes each morning was a highlight. A speci
