Hope Lake Lodge & Conference Center

We just returned from a girls trip. Two nights in the two bedroom, two bath. The accommodations are very clean and well maintained. The water park is designed for younger kids. Our 14 years olds really enjoyed the hot tub and snow tubing. We loved the room layout. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We plan to return in warmer weather to enjoy more outdoor activities.

We had four families that stayed at Hope Lake Lodge over the holiday weekend. We originally booked a trip to Colorado, but pushed it back due to the lack of snow in the west this year. ||||This was our first visit to Greek Peak, and while we enjoyed Hope Lake Lodge, we were very disappointed in the ski area. Snow coverage and grooming were good, but the lifts are well past their prime. The "Visions Express" lift is actually a fixed speed lift. We felt that having "Express" in the name of the lift was deceiving, as we assumed that it was a high speed detachable lift. We found all of your lifts very old, slow, and dated. Additionally, not all of the lifts were open at 8:30AM, which was odd. It was a holiday weekend--a time to put your best foot foreword. We were told by locals who ski Greek

Positive: The room was dirty. There was a disgusting stain on the bathroom wall. The carpet was stained and old and made the whole room feel dingy. There was a charge for the coffee in the lobby which was disgusting Negative: Disappointing for what we paid

Staff was super helpful, super kind in just about every way imaginable. Very grateful for that however having to purchase all tickets for activities separately was extremely inconvenient. Had to speak to reps on the phone for just about everything, then make account on a website to access all of these tickets...I just feel certain things should either be included in the stay or at the very least be able to purchase right at the front desk. Room was great, I stayed with my husband and 3 kids. My older boys loved that they did not have to share a bed because the room had Murphy bed and pull out couch plus a private bedroom.

Skiing is always great. We've stayed here three years in a row this holiday weekend and its gone down hill every year. First year huge packages that included water park, tubing, and skiing. Now no package at all. Coupled with this year the fire alarm went off two nights in a row for people smoking in the bathroom. No explanation at all. Staff shortages led to multiple things not being open including the kids area called the bears den. We had a toddler get sick and they were unable to bring us new bedsheets, we needed to go down ourselves and get them. When we booked we were told the room had a balcony but it didnt. The waterpark is way overpriced for not having a package on a holiday weekend and then there was human feces in the outdoor/indoor pool today.
