Our stay here was amazing! The view of some of the monuments from the penthouse terrace floor was beautiful. The staff were quick to accommodate the requests we made. I sooo love Ms. Debbie at the front desk! She was so professional, informative, friendly, and chique! Checking in and out was easy. We will definitely be visiting again.
I had the pleasure of working with Stashia Fore to book rooms and meeting space for our government leadership program kick-off week. The location was perfect, as the Metro is right across the street and we could walk to the Navy Yard and all the food options in the area (not to mention the Nationals ball-park). The staff were absolutely excellent! Front desk, bell-hop, business sales associates, food and cleaning staff were all very professional and kind. They went out of their way to explain things, provide support, and make adjustments on the fly and all with kindness and patience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and we appreciated the continental breakfast and Wednesday night gathering. Ultimately, we had a wonderful experience and would recommend staying here or holding an even
Positive: They were super accommodating! The staff was friendly and made us feel safe. Negative: This doesn't reflect on the hotel itself, but the location just wasn't great. It was very busy, no parking, loud at times.
For Hilton property I have grown to expect more. There breakfast is great but it is inconvenient because there is only one trash can and it is hidden from behind all of the tables and difficult to get to when you everyone is sitting at the tables in large groups. The location is great and convenient for food and all of my meetings. The pillows in the room are far too soft and it was better to stack up towels in the pillow cases to give some support.
I am three months into a four-month stay. You can trust this review. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated and the bed is comfortable. The best day to stay here is a Wednesday because they have really good cookies (and free beer if you're into that). However, the hotel is right across the street from the Bullpen, an open-air concert venue, so there is often music so loud you can make out the words in your own room all the way to 11pm. There is nothing you can do about it. There aren't as many concerts as the weather is getting colder, though. But when there is one, there will also be honking cars due to traffic and police sirens responding due some disturbance. They do have free breakfast but there is something *off* about the orange juice, and their omelets and breakfast sausage are
