Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston Clear Lake NASA

Absolutely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in – horrible experience from the moment I checked in. The facilities are extremely outdated, the carpet was filthy with stains and dirt everywhere, and there was a strong unpleasant smell in both the room and the hallways. The lighting was so dim it made everything feel gloomy and depressing. I couldn’t stand it for even a second longer – I immediately checked out on the spot, found another hotel nearby, and moved there right away on Christmas Day. Completely ruined my holiday plans. Nothing like the photos or description online. Do not stay here – save yourself the regret!

Stayed 12:31/2025-1/2/2026. Front desk evening and day staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Super close to the space Center,, room was clean and quiet and very comfortable Breakfast included. Really enjoyed out 2 night there and noon checkout Tim was very helpful!

Considering our previous stay this location was a palace. It is dated and the breakfast was lacking but our room was ok. Hotel staff here was great. Inviting and receptive.

We stayed here while in Houston to visit the space center. The hotel is a mere 9 min drive from NASA. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and efficient and we had a great conversation. I wish I remembered his name. |The suite was like a little apt. I really liked that the bedroom is in the back and away from the hallway. Everything you would need is in the kitchen and of course having a living room is an added bonus as most hotel rooms are exactly that- one room. The location is walkable to shopping and a few dining options. In particular - McDonald’s is literally a few yards down. There is an outdoor pool that looked very inviting but we didn’t get the chance to use it. |The free breakfast was set up nicely and had the usual fare. We enjoyed not having to rush out to find food
